When choosing a place to eat in Coorg (or nearby like Bylakuppe areas) it is crucial to consider distances, Coorg is divided into North and South (just like Goa). For instance, the distance between North Coorg (around Somwarpet) to South Coorg (around Kutta) would be approximately 3 hours one way. Therefore it's best for someone visiting Coorg to plan eateries after you have decided where to stay. Read my other posts on things to do and places to stay recommendations in Coorg.

What's special: This place can be a hit or a miss. Consistently the following have always been tasty, Thukpa, Fried Rice, Buff Momos (fried), Gimbap, Prawn Tempura, Hot pot (but they use instant noodles)
