Over the past 4 years, I have been to Kannur twice. The city of Kannur is just 2 hours from Coorg, and with the closest international airport there, Kannur city, I have seen transform beautifully. It's charming, has maintained its cultural vibe and is biting the hospitality bullet quick & fast.

In my last visit I got to make friends with some locals who took us to eat the tastiest home cooked Northern Kerala food, made a temple visit to witness a Theyyam (a scared dance ritual), swam in the beach, drank by a pool; all in all it was a brilliant stay. So here are my recommendations:
